FAQs
Q: Why purchase Desktop Recovery?
A: Desktop Recovery allows you to provide your key users immediate access to their desktops, data and applications, in any degree of systm failure. This means that even with a power failure or other disaster, your key users will be able to logon to a failover system with an up to date copy of all data and applications.
Q: What's the difference between Desktop Recovery and data backups?
A: While a standard backup can contain all your data, often the applications required to use the data backups are not immediately available. Additionally, even with a data backup available, a form of network would need to exist to get all your key workers back online - this often requires time-consuming configuration of a group of computers. SoThin Desktop Recovery offers a hosted Terminal Services environment with a live backup from your workplace, to ensure that all your applications and data are available at a moment's notice.
